In 2021 I created my first kapa kuiki inspired lau, Kanilehua, dedicated to my Kumu Hula Uncle Johnny Lum Ho. This lau features the ʻōhiʻa lehua, dancing to the beat of the Hilo rain. As it comes down, it collaborates with the lau lehua, creating the famous sound of Kanilehua. Nona kuʻu mahalo e mele mau.
